They say it's your birthday...

So my mom surprised me by showing up for my birthday unannounced. My sister Lorraine let the cat out of the bag a couple of weeks ago but covered it up fairly well.

Anyway.... most of my friends knew and were in on the surprise. She's been here less than a week and goes back tomorrow. It's always so sad when someone visits and leaves. :-(

Today we watched Collateral and Sideways. I liked Collateral more than I thought and Sideways much less. Sideways was one of those OVERRATED movies that everyone raves about but is too embarrassed to admit that it sucks.
